We have written about how the second most important capital is relational capital; the relational equity we’ve built up over time with others. It’s measured in the quality and depth of relationship we have with our family, friends, and associates.

We want to give you a chance to get to know some of the people who are part of the Five Capitals community, so you get an opportunity to see the kinds of results they are getting, and what it’s like to work with us!

That being said, we’d love to introduce you our friend, Wade Lombard. We recently asked him awade lombard couple questions to help you get to know him:

What is the name of your business?

Square Cow Moovers

What is the vision of your business?

To provide unparalleled moving services.

What services do you provide and who are you hoping to reach?

Our services are mostly limited to packing and moving individuals, families or businesses. We serve local or long distance needs. We handle household goods, fine art, antiques, pool tables, pianos, etc… Our target audience is families: Mom, Dad, 2.5 kids, and a dog. This is who we connect with the most. We’ll move the studio apartment and the 2 million dollar house, but we prefer those witting in between.

What do you feel sets you apart from others in your industry?

Our differentiator is starting with relational health BEFORE all of the classic general business consulting.

Name a few of your key values…

We believe that it’s the small things that separate us, not BIG things. It seems small to require each team member to tuck their shirts in, keep a clean dashboard, call their client when in route and say things like “yes ma’am”. We disagree. We think these small details make us different than our competitors. Our customer service representatives are scripted to say “Thanks for calling Square Cow Moovers, this is “name”, how may I serve you”. We truly put service at the forefront of who we are. It’s not just scripted, it’s sewn into the fabric of our company culture.

Why are you passionate about what your company does?

We have a current campaign called I. P. R. It stands for “Inspect it, Protect it, Respect it”. Our clients have entrusted us with their most valuable possessions. We’re passionate about treating each item with the respect it deserves. Whether it’s an antique family heirloom or a foodie’s favorite spatula, each item will be handled with care.

What do you feel sets you apart from others in your industry?

We have a high level of communication. As a matter of fact, we have a rule at Square Cow Moovers, “over communication is a myth”. Over communication doesn’t exist. Our industry is known for missed phone calls, ignored emails, and forgotten complaints. We aim to differentiate ourselves through excellent communication, from the initial phone call until the final item comes off the truck.

How do you incorporate the Five Capitals into your business and how has this helped change or influence how your business functions?

We agree that Relational Capital is today’s currency. We spend a significant amount of time investing relational capital into our managers and movers. We believe this investment will translate into an authentic spirit of service from those on the front lines.
