James’ life mission statement is to be a conduit of blessings to others and to help people and organizations achieve their goals. After 30 years of professional success in various CFO and COO roles, James wanted to help more companies accomplish their goals and more people win in all areas of life. James is a fractional CFO for several private companies but he wanted to add executive coaching with Five Capitals to his offerings in order to help more people benefit from his years of experience. James hasdeep industry knowledge in professional service firms but has worked in numerous industries in his professional career. James has led strategic planning for numerous companies as part of his leadership responsibilities and desires to assist other companies to accomplish their strategic goals with his leadership, financial and operational experience. James has held positions on various boards of directors (private, public and non-profit) and has over 30 years of finance experience. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Texas, Austin and is a Texas CPA.

He is born and raised in Austin, TX and he and his wife Kristen reside in Austin, TX. They have been blessed with three adult children – two of which are married and one is soon to be married. He enjoys traveling, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. He enjoys boating on Lake LBJ as well as snow skiing. He loves sunrises and sunsets and spending time in nature.
